Dear Garlic.

I understand that you have decided to not accept my advice and have returned to Africa. This I feel is a hasty decision and is taken at a time when the pain of disappointment can cloud judgement.

As I have become more involved and my understanding of the issues you face has deepened it occurs to me that your time spent with me over the last six months has not produced a complete picture of the difficulties you face in the complex area of “Second place syndrome” which I have now identified as being the root cause of your problem.

This syndrome which I have been credited with discovering in conjunction with my trusted colleague Dr Igor Van Helsing has given rise to much interest especially from those practising in the area of sport psychology.

It would appear that is this area in particular it is hoped that my revolutionary techniques can offer some hope of relief for those suffering with particular interest being shown by the Scottish Football Association, Scottish Rugby and the Scottish Tiddlywinks Association. All of whom have a history of failure not unlike your own.

Naturally being a leader in this field means that my services are not inexpensive but I must encourage you that it will be money well spent .I am unaware of any other person who has developed the skills and spent the time strenuously exploring this subject as I have and I am willing to continue my consultation with you using this medium until you return to this country.

It is time for us to lay our cards on the table in your case in particular your credit card as I still await payment for previous consultations.

We must bring to the surface all of the issues that contribute to your inability to cross the finishing line before anyone else and this I agree you may find painful but I am willing to suffer this if at the end of the day when all is said and done you there is light at the end of the tunnel and tomorrow is another day.
